ISIA card - aanpassing regels in 2020

ISIA card - aanpassing regels in 2020

Nieuwe ISIA regels in aantocht!

Liebe ISIA Mitglieder in Europa,

Dear ISIA members in Europe,

On 24.06.2019, the Delegated Regulation (DRA) for professional ski instructor, ratified by the European institutions, officially became effective. This regulation is valid for all citizens in the EU member states, who wish to work as professional ski instructors in a other member state than the one, in which they have successfully attained a qualification listed in Annex I of the DRA.

In the view of the ISIA Presidium, this decision has an impact on the ISIA quality standard and the tests for getting the standard "ISIA Card" in Europe. These are specifically the "ISIA Test Technique" and the "ISIA Test Safety" in addition to the required training duration of at least 450 hours.

As announced at the ISIA Delegates Assembly 2018 in Grainau, the ISIA Presidium will now deal with this development after the official decision and is working on further developing the ISIA quality standard, taking into account the principles and test procedures from the DRA. At the ISIA Delegates Meeting in Budapest from 14-16 July 2020 the ISIA Presidium will present its proposal, discuss it with the members and finally the assembly will decide.
